Wanhua Chemical has recently been granted a patent for its invention titled “Polyurethane Adhesive for Road Paving and Its Preparation Method,” with patent application number CN202211439944.X and grant date of January 7, 2025.
Patent Abstract: A polyurethane adhesive for road paving comprises the following components in weight parts: Prepolymer A, 15–30; Prepolymer B, 10–30; Prepolymer C, 5–20; Dilutant, 14–26; Stabilizer, 0.01–0.1; where, Prepolymer A is a prepolymer of polyether polyol and toluene diisocyanate; Prepolymer B is a prepolymer of plant oil polyol and diphenylmethane diisocyanate; Prepolymer C is a prepolymer of long-chain fatty monohydric alcohol and poly(methylenepolyphenyl) isocyanate. The preparation method is simple. When this polyurethane adhesive is mixed with aggregate to prepare polyurethane concrete, the resulting polyurethane concrete has a long open time, high splitting strength, high dynamic stability, and high low-temperature bending strain.
